Ching of Tao through Kabir

Whatever will be written under this series, is vetted by my own experience only, except nirvaana. It is my own experience from practically applying Osho’s teachings in my family life over a span of about 30 years.

Kabir is a ‘Bhakti marg’ saint where surrender comes first and meditative state attained as by product at the end.

What comes automatically has more impact in teachings of few saints like Kabir.

Laozi too seems to be ‘Jnan marg’ where meditative state attained through knowledge. And by taking knowledge from everyone the meditative state is attained first and then surrender happens automatically and so they start talking about Love, Compassion and surrender etc Like with Buddha, Osho etc.

So those teachings of Kabir after enlightenment will be helpful to understand Tao and those teachings of Buddha after his enlightenment will be helpful to understand Kabir.

One mystic ‘Ashtavakra’ whose ‘Maha Geeta’ most referred by ‘Jnana marg’ followers too have some insightful messages that may be helpful understand Tao. Osho talked at length on all these mystics and his version seems to me as most authentic, so in light of those teachings my comparison is basically based upon.

Another thing worth understanding is that in India there was many full fledged developed systems or methodologies for spiritual journey through ‘Bhakti marg’ (path of prayer of idol or God) was and is mostly part of organised religion and only few ‘Casts’, mostly Brahmins, in India are allowed to enter into it. ‘Jnana marg’( path of knowledge) remained and still continuing mostly for lower caste people/masters of South India and one’s own dedicated effort is required while facing society alone at the same time. Jnana marg is suitable for people of lower casts, in India as they have no other options, and also for those who are living family life.

Meera is exception to Bhakti marg mystic and Kabir is exception, of belonging to lower cast, to Bhakti marg. May be due to grace of their masters as they had seen spark in them.

Osho too added another feather to this exceptional mystics list by Organising and systematising the unorganised ‘Jnana marg’ and opening it to foreigners and for other religions too. He also founded a commune for such seekers where they can stay together with like minded a as lone strugglers in pursuit of eternal happiness through spiritual wisdom.

For such foreign disciples Osho gave a tinge of traditional wisdom of great Indian known mystics, unknown or forgotten one and many such foreign mystics too. Hence giving a new lease of life to their teachings too because it may be of help for someone in future.

Awareness meditation (Osho guiding about meditation on YouTube) is the way worked for me, may be you too find it suitable otherwise Dynamic meditation is for most of the people. You may wish to know that the state of meditation is our natural state and “How meditation affects us?”.

There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.

My experiences may be of your help in taking only one step in deciding to add value to life. Because everyone has to move forward alone, this is the nature of this journey.
In my life mindfulness or awareness meditation (My experiences shared through a post) helped miraculously. Along with meditation living a simple, authentic and totality in life is very helpful. It is helful even when we are serving people around us with great love and care without discrimination.
