Gyan marg or Bhakti marg?

Bhakti marg or Gyan marg or Karm Marg which is most suitable for a person to attain the ultimate in a human being like this flower has attained its ultimate by flowering.

There are two basic ways to reach Godliness within.

There are two basic ways to reach Godliness within. Bhakti marg stresses bhajan/jap and all effort is to get it done automatically 24X7. It culminates into drowning in awareness ie ‘Darshan’ of Virat Swaroop of God

Another way is through Gyan Marg(Meditation). In this awareness is tried to achieve first and its experience is like getting dissolved into the infinite existence and experience Philosia or Darshan of self/soul/consciousness. Then jap/bhajan follows to remain aware 24X7 automatically. Ultimate nirvaan is then can be defined as a state of 24×7 awareness without any effort. Then a sound of ‘Anhad naad’ starts humming inside and it remains 24×7 without outside effort.

To know this awareness, three paths already exist and the maarg, pilgrimages, process etc. of their sadhana are determined. Meditation has been made the path in all three because there is gradual development in these practices.

1. Gyan Marg : A sadhak on the path of Gyan Marg is called as Gyan Yogi, he attains enlightenment by focusing on his meditation on his thoughts, which are dominant.

Osho’s suggestion for travellers on path of Gyan Marg

Do not stop or even try to stop the thoughts; If a thought comes, look at it. Don’t get lost in it; Stand a little away, at a distance. By observing the thought in a calm manner, you will gradually attain witnessing or Tao or enlightenment.

2. Bhakti Marg : A sadhak on the path of Bhakti Marg is called as Bhakti Yogi, he is the one in which emotions predominate, tears flow, the heart becomes overwhelmed, one takes a dip in love, affection, devotion, devotion.

Osho says, make this emotion as your vehicle; In this path take your emotions on the path of meditation. Let the tears flow – flow carefully. There should be excitement, but there should be caution.

3. Karm Marg :  A sadhak on the path of Karm Marg is called as Karma Yogi. It is better for such sadhak to ride on their karma only, to make it their horse. Take your actions on the path of meditation. You start working carefully. Whatever you do, don’t do it unconsciously, do it consciously. Stay awake while doing it.

The infinite space around us becomes our home when we live full of होंश and to take rest I start listening to the sound of omkaar within. 

Osho stressed on achieving awareness first as it can be experienced at climax of sex. In this period of social media, Sex has become our essential part of life.  
Just a little awareness practice everyday during any of daily chores is needed to be practiced and that same awareness applied during sex by one or both partner. This leads one to experiment ‘Tantra Meditation’ in his life. ‘Tantra meditation’ is just an application of awareness meditation during sex. Since it gives a glimpse of the ecstatic experience that happens after enlightenment and one may have 24×7 without indulging in sex at all!

Once a person is able to get this glimpse during sex then the rest of the journey for follower becomes quite simple for traveller of any path Gyan Marg or Bhakti Marg or Karm Marg 

Awareness meditation (Osho guiding about meditation on YouTube) is the way worked for me, may be you too find it suitable otherwise Dynamic meditation is for most of the people. You may wish to know that the state of meditation is our natural state and “How meditation affects us?”.

There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.
