Thank you, for visiting, sharing this blog: with lots of blessings too.

Bel tree in campus

Today’s post is about readers of this blog.

Except one or two readers most of the readers are those who are thirsty and looking for something worthwhile to read at WordPress blog sites or others places too. You all are sharing it too, I am sure.

This thirst is what makes a person a good reader of books, articles and contemplate upon them. By applying what is learned in our life, we have observed changes in our overall quality of life as well as thoughts. This change causes us to read more and more.

This is the way to grow. Like a tree grows, not knowing where the next branch will emerge from it. Slowly slowly a big tree takes its shape, as I am noticing it in my campus. Now it has grown above ground floor terrace.

One day this ‘Bel’ tree will be laden with fruits, for sure.
This is what happens with a human being too.

I am giving my example about how the habit of reading and applying what is learned immediately changed my life.

I was proud of my rank in my class from 6th to 10th, while studying at St. Joseph’s H S School. I stood last but one, and the student at last rank could not overtake me all these years! In 11th for first time I got placed in the middle order ranks.

The reason for the change was my Physics teacher Mr Khan, who found me struggling in his subject and instructed me to solve an out of syllabus book ‘Numerical Physics’. It was very tough for me but I solved it’s most of the problems. Then I started enjoying solving and reading course books from first page to last page. Learning new subjects became my passion.

Earlier I could barely finish only few of the books prescribed by the board, and here I went beyond it!
First time I recognised that apart from Readers Digest (Hindi) I could gain much confidence from other books too, and that too in my studies.

Before that Reader’s Digest (Hindi edition launched in 1982) is the only book that I could finish in one sitting. This book slowly slowly helped me in cultivating reading habit in my life. Then one day I got opportunity to talk with very good peoples who too are reading it. Then I realised that good people read good books.

This RD book was gifted to me by one of my friend while he purchased Brook Bond Red Label Tea! He just gave list of 7 addresses and he got one another book as promotional launch of their book ‘RD, Hindi’, free with it or something like it.

Had he not shared my address, I may still be struggling proudly at ‘last but one position’ in the society today.

You do not know but you may have changed a lot of people’s life just by sharing.

When the tree in my campus will be fully laden with fruits it’s joy will be multidimensional. People will get benefitted directly by eating them. But the tree’s joy begins when after consuming it’s fruits someone will sow it’s seeds in the ground. This my younger son did, and today the tree has grown!

I taught him that a tree grows from a seed. I was teaching my brother’s kids by sowing mango seed. So after few months he brought three seeds of ‘Bel fruit’ that these kids used to eat in lunch time from a tree in their campus.

Everyone in my home opposed me, but I was determined. I gave example of Shiva stating that someone has to drink the venom too, so that others can get nectar. I also want to teach my son a lesson that all trees are good and if it is fruit bearing than it is best. Do not differentiate them as good or bad, and treat all human beings too like a tree.

Osho used to say that one seed can turn whole earth green one day.

Your One share has actually helped the people of whole planet get enlightened one day. It may begin a reading habit in one, it may transform the other.
The one who keeps growing like a fruit bearing tree will not hesitate to share.

A fruit bearing tree knows the art of growing everyday. So it gives confidence that next year again fruits will grow, so it is better to empty itself first this year.

Thanks for sharing, and lots of blessings for helping this planet becoming green one day. Be like a tee, keep growing each day. I recently learned hyperlinking and podcasting, what about you?

Awareness meditation is the way worked for me, may be you too find it suitable otherwise Dynamic meditation is for most of the people. There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.

Osho International Online (OIO) provides facility to learn these from your home,

1. through Osho Meditation Day @€20.00 per person. OIO rotate times through three timezones NY,Berlin and Mumbai. You can prebook according to the convenient time for you.

2. There is OSHO Evening Meeting streaming which can be accessed every day at local time starting 6:40 pm (of which Osho says that he wants his people to view it all over the world and these days it is possible) and 16 of the meditations mostly with video instructions and so much more on iOSHOthrough App.

3. There is a 7 days Free Trial also for people who would like to first try it out.

This is an opportunity for learning and knowing Osho through these sannyasins who lived in his presence and brought to life his words in best possible quality in all formats.

Disciples of Jesus left him alone in last minutes but Osho’s disciples remained with him till he left his body willingly after working, till last day, for all of us to get enlightened. Jesus tried hard till last minute, before being caught, to teach meditation to his disciples. As per Saint John’s Gospel:- Jesus used word ‘Sit’ to transfer his meditative energy to them and went on to pray God, but on returning he found them sleeping. He tried two times again but in vain.

Even today Zen people use word ‘Sit’ for meditation in their saying ‘Sit silently, do nothing, season comes and the grass grows by itself green’.

Hi ….. I write my comments from my personal experiences of my inner journey. This post may include teachings of Mystics around the world that I found worth following even today. 1. Reading definitely helps us grow. New branches emerge and we bless others with the growth just like the tree does with its fruits, shed and balance to the ecosystem.

Interesting, we share the exact same high school names although in different continents.

    1. It is great to know that you like reading. What I did to grow fast is to experiment what I have learned by reading the book.
In 1982 I was suggested to read a book by Dale Carnegie ‘How to win friends and influence people’ and I converted my fellow students, relatives even strangers into a lab to test those principles. And it worked!
Then in 1999 I just overheard about a book ‘You can win’ by Shiv Khera and purchased it immediately and again the same.
So I learned practically what is suitable for me to adopt from that book and what is there for others- there are 8 Billion others too for whom this book is also written, isn’t it?
