Meaning of life is not given, only ingredients given. We need to discover it.

Meaning of life is given just like meeting a person behind a frosted glass partition. We need to do necessary effort and courage to remove the frosted plastic sheet from the clear glass to discover our reality or our meaning of life or purpose of life. The courage is required to accept the face as our own and with acceptance it start becoming more beautiful everyday.

Upon asking a question about meaning of life, Osho answered as below :-

LIFE IN ITSELF IS NOT MEANINGFUL
It is meaningful only if you can sing a song of the eternal,

if you can release some fragrance of the divine, of the godly,
if you can become a lotus flower deathless, timeless.
If you can become pure love, if you can beautify this existence,

IF YOU CAN BECOME A BLESSING TO THIS EXISTENCE, only then life has significance; otherwise it is pointless. It is like an empty canvas:

you can go on carrying it your whole life and you can die under its weight, but what is the point?

PAINT SOMETHING ON IT…

Meaning has to be created in life; meaning is not given already.
You are given freedom, you are given creativity, you are given life.
All that is needed to create meaning is given.

All the essential ingredients of meaning are given, but meaning is not given,
MEANING HAS TO BE CREATED BY YOU.

You have to become a creator in your own right.

PAND WHEN YOU BECAME A CREATOR in your own right,
you participate with God,
YOU BECOME A PART OF GOD.

Comments from my spiritual journey:-

I have got one animation video created by an artist to explain from my experience ‘What is purpose of life and how cross is exact representation of it’.
Every religion and every civilisation has used cross of different forms to let people know about purpose of human life.
It is through experimenting attitude in life and learning from their results that inner wisdom grows to such a level to let truth get revealed to that person.
Knowing truth through third eye is discovering the reality as it is. Knowing truth through third eye is knowing the answer of most prominent question ‘Who am I? The moment in which we discover the meaning of life is called as Satori by Japanese Zen people.

Mystics around the world have tried to point a finger towards this truth in various ways. In The book of Mirdad, the writer Michael Niamey tried to explain this using metaphor of a book that speaks.

In east through gyan marg or sankhya they tried to point finger towards it as our intrinsic quality. So they developed Namaste as greeting by joining both hands in such a way to make it one, hence a crossing of horizontal with vertical is created. People following Bhakti marg also uses Swastic, a cross but in different style.

There are two Paths, according to Eastern scriptures, for discovering it. One is BhaktiMarg ie by prayer and and other is GyanMarg ie by practicing meditation which is first discovered by Buddha. Indian mystic Gorakhnath and Kabir suggested practical use of awareness meditation while doing any act of life and called it Sahaj Dhyan or through practice of awareness meditation.  Sahaj means the act that is most comfortable, simple and enjoying for a person. This is also a derived path from GyanMarg and due to its practical application in normal human life a seeker of truth need not have to leave his home, as Buddha suggested to his disciples.

Awareness meditation is the way worked for me and I tried it first during brushing my teeth in the morning after trying 8-10 meditations over period of 15 years! So there is no need to reinvent the circle for you. May be you too find it suitable otherwise with Dynamic meditation and/or Kundalini in the evening it is suitable for most of the people. There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho for contemporary people that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.
