My English is poor, pronunciation is further ahead of it. So I am using text to speech conversion to remove one hurdle at least. This way that you may get a glimpse towards which I am pointing to, like it happens when you ask a stranger in non-English speaking country about something and he or she tries to explain it. Since you are thirsty of knowing about it, so you get it too. The consciousness plays an important role in communicating the point at much higher level where we all are connected because it from one’s own experience.

When you verbalise or write a trauma, it still remains like a quarantine virus. You need to remove it too, to be sure that it could never harm in future by reusing h is by another more advanced virus.
The god given (by default) anti virus in our mind is our conscience, so use it every time any new thought enters into your mind.
So if you wish to reset yourself to ‘factory default’, then you may begin with awareness meditation for few moments in any of your daily activity and keep this anti virus called conscience installed. It will check every new thought entering your system and if it will unnecessarily try to convert or extend the present moment into past or future illusions, immediately ‘remove’ it. And on daily basis check for quarantined material kept by conscience in mind then before going to bed ‘remove’ it.
So good beginning is half done, and good ending is a big win. You will have a good sleep and it is now easy to convert into a meditative sleep. Then whole night can be used as meditation, because mind begins next morning from where it left in the night! You left it meditatively, so you will get up in meditative state too. So if in the end it was meditative and beginning it was meditative too, then in the middle also it was meditative too.
Awareness meditation (Osho guiding about meditation on YouTube) is the way worked for me, may be you too find it suitable otherwise Dynamic meditation is for most of the people. You may wish to know that the state of meditation is our natural state and “How meditation affects us?”.
There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.
